efusjon Reviewefusjon is a very interesting company. First we will cover the facts of efusjon… then we will discuss if they are going to last (at least in my opinion and the industry experts I spoke to). They are headquartered in Oregon but many of the founders live in the southern states, primarily Mississippi. Rob Towles is the CEO and creator of the company and comp plan.  Loren Middag (formerly of Isagenix) is the #1 money earner in efusjon. efusjon produces energy drinks that they claim are healthy and all natural. efusjon officially formed in late 2008. From the beginning of the company they had garnered some very noticeable momentum because of a compensation plan based on a matrix design. You only needed 3 personally enrolled and you were check qualified. You also got credit and paid for “spillover” from upline and matrix neighbors.

Out of the gate efusjon was attracting some high powered network marketers…largely because the compensation plan was easy to cash in and not so much because of the product. The product claims to be all natural with no additives, but has 15 grams of Crystalline Fructose (google that….it’s not pretty) listed in its ingredients.

The current state of efusjon appears to be in a sinking mode as they have lost a lot of leaders in the field from wild compensation plan changes…including Derek Broes and industry powerhouses Dave and Dana Peterman.  They have done at least 4 or 5 major comp plan changes in just the first 18 months.

The company also sent out an email to all the original distributors to reassure they were “grandfathered” into the old comp plan and any changes would not affect them. This was bogus because they changed it on the core group within a few months. They gave every excuse under the sun..Attorney General, Class Action Lawsuits, Unfair to new reps…..but funny thing is the company owners/investors stood to take home a much larger piece of the pie each month from these changes. Not very good planning from the corporate leadership. This was the straw that broke the camels back and efusjon has been in a constant state of tailspin ever since. Recently, in a move of sheer desperation efusjon just switched (again) their comp plan back to the first one…which they had claimed was illegal. Doesn’t make much sense.

Further, I was at a live efusjon event in Phoenix where efusjon founder Rob Towles actually said “I HATE network marketing companies” that left all the people I was with (about 20 of us) in shock. My question is why open a network marketing company if you “hate” them? If you hate football…and bought a football franchise…what are the chances of building a championship organization? Not very good. I use this parallel comparison to form my opinion that efusjons chances of lasting are not very promising. I do not think they will last very long at all. Industry experts I spoke with said the fatal move they did was lie to the distributorship about the comp plan and then switch it up on them a few months later.

If you are in efusjon I would highly recommend getting a plan B going on the side. If you are recruiting people in efusjon it should be because you like the drinks….not because you want a long term residual income. The field for energy/nutritional drinks is very saturated and some are just riding a fad. Ultimately the masses will decide which drinks will survive.

Sorry to be critical of efusjon if you are in it, but if you read my other company reviews they are largely positive. I feel an obligation to be genuine and give people an honest perspective from what I witness firsthand.
